About the Speaker:
Ray is a Digital Transformation specialist responsible for digital strategy in Global Financial Markets at DBS Bank. Previously, he was also instrumental in leading the delivery of FX, Fixed Income Trading and Core Finance technology at the bank. Ray is a passionate Cloud advocate with deep interest in Serverless services and has multiple AWS Certifications under his belt. He is also active in the Machine Learning & AWS DeepRacer communities.

🤖 11.30am - 12.10pm : Topic - Supercharging your coding productivity with Amazon Q Developer
In this presentation, participants will gain a basic understanding of several Gen AI services in AWS. The session will cover the use cases of Amazon Q Developer and how it can help increase coding productivity. Most importantly, the presentation will demonstrate how to do specification-driven development using Amazon Q Dev. Participants will also learn about setting up Amazon Q Dev CLI and using profiles and contexts for different use cases. At the end of the presentation, there will be a demo session on two apps created using Q Dev (IDE) and Q Dev (CLI).
About the Speaker:
Jiawei is currently a senior software engineer and AWS Community Builder. He is also one of the leads of Gen-C, a Gen AI learning community. He has over 10 years of experience in building software applications. Jiawei is also an ADPList mentor in the field of Generative AI and software engineering.
